For my Thrilling Thursdays I will tell you a little bit about my holiday. I went to Niagara Falls, Ontario (third time being here) just a few hours from where I live. I went with my Mom, Grandma and Aunt. I ate good food and went indoor skydiving (so much fun). Here are some pictures that I took enjoy!

Fit and Food Friday

Now I don't know about you, but who doesn't like having a good butt? Unfortunatly I got a lot of what my mama gave me. I have butts and I have thighs and its hard to keep the fat off in that area. But thanks to www.seventeen.com they bless me with such great videos to keep my butt and legs looking great!

FOOD
I know that people have been telling you to switch your white bread to whole wheat but I can't stress enough how much of a difference it REALLY is just by switching white to whole wheat. Did you know there is increased rate of diabetes in children who eat refined white flour? There are 30 nutrients missing in white bread. And I believe whole wheat even tastes better than white.

Thrilling Thursdays

PDA (Public Displays of Affection) We have all witnessed it and/or have done it. And it has been a world-wide discussion for ages. Is it hot or is it not? In my opinion it's really annoying. It's cool that you want to show the world your in love, but your also showing everyone who isn't in love... that there not in love. It's kind of a punch in the face (even though we know your not purposely doing it) I may be a little hypocritical because I remember I used to display affection on numerous occasions with my ex-boyfriend. Maybe it was cause I really did love him, because when we broke up and I got with my new boyfriend (now ex) I hated PDA I wouldn't even hold hands in public because I just didn't want to tell people I'm in love and there not. I think holding hands (okay) making out in public (that's just gross) there are things called rooms people! No one wants to see you having sex in front of us that's just disgusting, once I see body parts flying thats my queue to leave the room and vomit. It may just be me because I'm single, not in love and really lonley and I hate everyone who is in love and happy but it's just annoying. It seems everyone is getting together and I'm the only one who is lonley. If you love someone and want to show the world leave it to a minimum so you don't leave the rest of us single ladies crying late at night.

Wishlist Wednesday

Wishlist Wednesday isn't always about what I wish for. Sometimes I will put a general list of what I love or what I recommend. So for my first Wishlist Wednesday I am going to put a list of my faovurite movies, ever. No specific order, there all equally loved.

1. Legally Blonde (2001) I remember I first watched this movie when my Dad brought it home from me on his business trip in China I would say I was about 8 years old when I first watched this movie, and it was love at first sight. The jokes were timeless and not to mention Reese Witherspoon killed it as Elle Woods. (Not to mention I to am a blonde so of course I'd love this film) I believe it was a sterotypical film, with tasty humour. Blondes had a new reputation and introduced shopping and books could be two girl's interests. I myself have watched this movie over a 100 times and it never gets old.

2. The Breakfast Club (1985) The Breakfast Club is a timeless classic movie that is almost impossible to fall in love with. Drama, humour, sterotypes, love, heartbreak, crying, laughing, drugs, every emotion, every emotion you could put in a film this one covered it all. It had such an amazing message and inspirational quotes. 'You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. You see us as a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal' as quoted on the essay that Brian wrote to the principal. And it's true, I believe every high school student should watch this movie. It will give you a whole new outlook on everyone, that no matter what clique your in, no matter the colour of your hair, your family, anything that everyone is the same and different.

3. School Of Rock (2003) I saw this movie in the theatre and the day it came out I bought it on DVD. I don't know if it was Jack Black's surprisingly good guitar skills and jokes or how hot the drummer Freddie Jones was. Whatever it was, it took my heart. It showed us that Rock N' Roll isn't dead and is here to stay. The music is just as good as the jokes. It showed our generation really how good our parent's generation's music was and I think that's what I liked most about it. It was a great film and a must see by all.

4. Toy Story (1995) Now let's get real here, who in the world does not like Toy Story? The soundtrack was beautiful, the story was beautiful, the picture was beautiful, I have never seen something so beautiful. Woody and Buzz were voted top animated characters ever. The movie was nominated for 3 Oscars and also had 19 wins & 10 nominations. I don't even need to talk to by just seeing this movie on the list, you probably already have asked your Mom to set up the VHS to watch it.

5. Chicago (2002) I was a little skeptical about putting a musical on my top 5 favourite movies of all time, but let's get real here Chicago was an AMAZING movie. It's picture was spectacular and all the actors did a fabulous job. Not to mention how handsome does Richard Gere look? Mmm. Anyways, the choreography, the picture, the acting did it all for me. I haven't seen the musical live, but watching it on my TV was good enough thrill for me. I know all the songs off by heart and I could probably do the whole musical with me being the only dancer/singer/actor that's how much I love this movie.

My top five was MY personal favourite movies of all time, I wish I could of put Bring It On (yes it's one of my favourite movies, sue me) The Notebook. Radio, The Dark Knight, Grease all amazing films. Many more but I just had to share my top 5. Comment with your favourite movies!

Trendy Tuesday

My trend that I am currently obsessed with are ANIMAL PRINTS. I'm talking zebra, cheetah, snake, elephant, dog, i'm talking animal obsessed over here. (and i'm talking only animal PRINT not any real skin). The above picture is a zebra print bathing suit top from American Apparel $28. I plan on getting it as soon as I get my paycheque. (yes I still haven't got my summer bathingsuit yet, sue me). I love mis-matching animal prints with a solid colour. I'm not as unique as some of my friends when it comes to fashion but my good friend told me to mix that bathing suit top with a bright neon pink, I was a little skeptical at first but it looked amazing. So try mix-matching your animal prints with an exciting colour to really get noticed. Here are some animal print stuff I own.

I got this cute cheetah/leopord (I can't tell the difference) print top from a cute little store down town. I love it, it goes good with a simple black cardigan and some blue skinny jeans or even black tights. It's very suttle and sexy.

I got these shoes that I'm obsessed with from Steve Madden for a good $40, worth every penny. These shoes are a pain in the ass to get on, but I have gotten compliments on them everytime I wear them.

Music Monday

I love music is an understatement. I am obsessed with music. I can play any instrument you hand to me (except I can't play any instrument with strings.. life goal to learn to play the banjo) I like all genres of music. You will see a lot of variety on my Music Monday blogs. And I'd like to introduce to you the first band. If you haven't heard of these guy's you are about to introduced to probably the most talented hip hop group out there. They go by 'Atmosphere' a Minneapolis hip-hop duo. The members are rapper Slug and DJ Ant. Together they make a different rap sound that were not used to. They have been together for over a decade and have made inspirational and amazing music. You haven't seen or heard raw lyrical talent until you get a look at these guys. The song I'm about to show you is my favourite all time song from Atmopshere and it comes from there album God Loves Ugly. The song is called Love Life and it has some of the most talented lyrics I believe of all time. This song and this band gives rap a good reputation and is very popular in the underground rap world. I hope you enjoy this band and there talent as much as I do.
