Selebrity Sunday

2009 has been quite a year for deaths in the celebrity world. Especially the past month. I would like to make a tribute to all the deaths in the past month. RIP all.

Walter Cronkite
(November 4, 1916 - July 17, 2009)
The most recent death upon us is Walter Cronkite, the very talented and well known broadcast journalist died at the age of 92. Best known for the anchor man on CBS News in the 70's and 80's. Cronkite had cerebral vascular disease, believing which caused his death. Rip.

Steve McNair
(Febuary 14, 1973 - July 4, 2009)
July 4th is a very memorable event for Americans, celebrating the culture and life of there beloved country they call America. But an unfortunate event to all Football fans across the continent. Ex-NFL Quarterback Steve Mcnair was murdered at the young age of 36. He was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds, along with another female-victim named Sahel Kazemi, 20 years old. He was an amazing athlete and a great impact in the NFL. Rip.

Karl Malden
(March 22, 1912 - July 1, 2009)
Oscar-winning actor Karl Malden past away at 97. A very successful life of over seven decades of acting in many classic films. Karl Malden starred in films such as A Streetcar Named Desire, Baby Doll and many more. He lived an eventful life, and a well-known man of the film world. Rip.

Billy Mays
(July 20, 1958 - June 28, 2009)
Billy Mays the well known pitchman who was best known of advertising Oxi Clean died at a young age of 50. He was found dead beside his wife in Tampa, Florida on the morning of June 28th. He was a talented pitchman and will be missed. Rip.

Michael Jackson
(August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009)
The King of Pop, famous for his remarkable talent in dancing and singing unfortunatly left us on June 25, 2009 at 50. One of the most famous and talenten men left us in suh a state of shock and sadness. He was the seventh child of the Jackson Family and at an early age 11 entertained us starring in the Jackson Five. Later on began a solo career in 1971, embracing us with many hit songs such as 'Billy Jean' 'Off the Wall' 'Thriller' and many others. Not to mention his most famous dance move 'the moon walk'. The cause of death has not been determined. Michael Jackson will be missed by all, but his music and presence will live on forever. Rip.

Farrah Fawcett
(Febuary 2, 1947 - June 25, 2009)
Pop Icon Farrah Fawcett, past away at the age of 62. She was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, beginning treatment including chemotherapy and surgery. Fawcett was a numerous Golden Glove and Emmy nonimee. She began her fame in 1976 in the hit TV series Charlie's Angel's. Fawcett went on to broadways and other highly rated films. Farrah Fawcett entertained us for years and unfortunatly had to pass on. Rip
